Pete Davidson Staying as SNL Cast Member

Supporters behind the upcoming comedian, Pete Davidson, were excited to learn that his position as Saturday Night Live Cast Member isn’t being terminated anytime soon. This follows after multiple reports indicated that Davidson was moving entirely towards the film, with Hulu recently supporting this actor in “Big Time Adolescence”. It’s storyline regarding a dropout college freshman that becomes best friends with some child in high school, helping him navigate through time trailing period of growth.

Then Pete Davidson has another film from Judd Apatow that’s releasing on June 10th named “The King of Staten Island”. It’s this movie that prompted these rumours of Davidson entering film & leaving television, with significant popularity garnering behind the trailer. It prompted the young comedian that previously dated Ariana Grande to clarify his position with Saturday Night Live. He remarked that sketches from his home wouldn’t be filmed if his position were in question.

Confirmation regarding his continued employment with Saturday Night Live was remarked through Entertainment Tonight. The rising comedian mentioned that he’d continue with SNL for however long that Lorne Michaels desires. He’d note his grateful sentiments & lucky towards remaining on the show while thanking Lorne Michaels for his mentorship over the last six years.

Kayne West Vs. Pete Davidson

Pete Davidson initially joined Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 2014, quickly becoming one of the more controversial & popular members on this series. Controversy has followed multiple times after Davidson has used Saturday Night Live as a platform to engage with political topics. Pete isn’t the 1st castmate with SNL to question politicians in front of millions, many others have, with Davidson just being the most recent & notable.

Davidson once entered an infamous feud with Kayne West, which followed after Pete made remarks about the rapper’s speech of support for Donald Trump. The SNL Castmate directly attacked West, noting that an African American supporting the racist behaviour of Donald Trump is hysterical behaviour. Kayne would refute his statements & claim his position as god of music, showing that his egotistical nature could never end.
